Social Activities

A number of social activities are held throughout the year for swimmers and their families. These are designed to encourage members from all squads to get to know one another and promote team spirit. Disco’s, bowling, BBQ’s and an awards presentation night are among the events held throughout the year.

If you would like to know more about any of the club’s social activities, please contact Social.

Gala Entry Fees

Gala entry fees are payable in advance.  When selection is finalised, the race fees will be due.  Gala fees depend on the individual meet and so can vary.

Please Note: No swimmer will be entered for a gala unless the fees have been paid.  This is common practice in SASA swimming clubs and avoids the club running into financial difficulties.

For more information, please contact Gala Entry.

Squad Training Fees

Monthly squad training fees are used to cover the costs of pool hire and coaching fees. The current fees are displayed in the members only section

We request that a standing order is set up to pay the monthly fees. Please contact for further details.

(SASA) Affiliation Fee

Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (SASA) Affiliation Fee

This is Payable to the club in March. The annual affiliation rate is set by SASA. Payment to SASA is made by the club each year for insurance and the competition infrastructure in Scotland. Failure to affiliate to SASA means that you are unable to compete in competitions and that you are not insured against personal injury during training.  You can check whether you are a SASA member at which, unless you opted out, will show your membership details under ‘StirlingSwim’.
