Kerry Wood (nee Martin) has been one of Scotland’s top swimmers in recent years and developed through the junior ranks at Stirling Amateur Swimming Club. Kerry held the long and short course Scottish records for the 50m and 100m butterfly for eight years and was Scottish champion in these events 1995 – 2003. Kerry first represented Great Britain at the 1993 European Sprint Championships before going on to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur in 1998 and Manchester in 2002. As a coach, Kerry has coached swimmers to Scottish and British Age Group medals and disability swimmers to European and World Championship Medals. She was also selected as a coach for the GB Paralympic team in London 2012.
